Did anyone ever bring a Coach bag to a store to have it refurbished?

I think I have read here on LIF that you can bring your Coach bag to a store to have it fixed. Does that include wear and tear from use? Did anyone have any experience doing that that that can share?

Not they way it used to be. They used to have a lifetime warranty, now it's "lifetime of the purse", which is typically only about 2 years. At leat that's what then told me a few months ago whe. I tried to bring my 3 year old purse in that looks like it's 10 years old, they said it's worth $0, and that I can spend the $20 to send it in but that likely nothing would happen except them give me a 20% off coupon for my next purchase. The whole point of getting Coach in the past was that they lasted a lifetime... They are NOT what they used to be.
