Should I try IUI?
We are going to wait a bit to do another IVF cycle.. could possibly be Aug/Sept/Oct. I'm wondering if I should try IUI treatments in between? My RE recommended we go straight to IVF but if I'm waiting and trying naturally anyway for a few months I thought that IUI would make sense. Any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks

Why not?! Does insurance cover it?
After 3 iui my re said go to IVF.
My new re said try more iui.
#7 was the winner for me (5, and 6 too but didn't stick).
If it's not a tube or known chromosomal issue, give it a go.
Plus you'll see how you react on mess which can save you time and $$ in terms of your protocol for IVF.

Yes, I should have mentioned that about the insurance, which is key. My insurance covers up to 6 IUIs and not IVF at all. Even though our RE recommends IVF, he can't say no to us trying IUI.. he's not the one paying for it.
