Would it be completely ridiculous...
to wear a maternity dress to a wedding at just 9.5 weeks?
I have a dress I bought a few weeks ago that I thought would work but I just tried it on and it looks horrible. I look 5 months pregnant already in everything! I have a closet full of xs and petite dresses from before my first that I never got back into. I never quite got rid of the belly so now adding the bloat and the bigger boobs and nothing fits right. I gave in and tried a maternity dress I had and it's so comfy and looks decent but I feel ridiculous wearing it now. Would you just go for it? I really don't want to go buy something that probably won't fit in another month either, especially for a wedding I'm not really excited about anyway. WWYD??

If you like how you look in it, definitely go for it! I don't think it's ridiculous at all.

I'm fat to begin with, and I've certainly purchased dresses that were "maternity" from Target, even when not preggo, just because it looks better.

Wear what makes you the most comfortable. No one else will knew it's a maternity dress!

I was already in maternity clothes by 9-10 weeks because I showed very early and most of my pre-pregnancy clothes were fitted. I needed comfort, so I say by all means go for the maternity dress.

Yep, 11 weeks today and I'm in my maternity dress pants. I bet no one will even know it is maternity.

Not at all!! Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Many times people can't tell the difference between maternity and regular.

Not at all. Dd is almost 11 months and I still wear some of my maternity clothes. Not bc of my weight, I'm below my pre-preg weight, but bc I like the stuff and you would never know it's maternity.
Wear whatever you want, whenever you want,,,within reason lol

Re: Would it be completely ridiculous...
Some of the best advice I was given was to not hold on to fitting into your regular clothes...switch to maternity as soon as regular clothes start being uncomfortable. I say rock that maternity dress!!!
