Favorite restaurant in eastern Queens..
My DH and I want to try something new for our anniversary dinner!
We seem to go to the same restaurants all the time! Been to bell blvd 1000 times and want to try some place new!
Any good queens recommendations!
And we've been to Tavern 18, the Italian restaurant next door and Louie's in Port Washington a bunch as well!

Villa Rustica in Bayside. DH used to work there - the food is so good!

I used to love Tavern 18 but I feel like they've gone down hill big time over the past year or so. Luigi's is really good though.
K Pacho is on Union Tpke also and they're food is delicious. (Mexican)
Trattoria Lucia on Jericho is one of our favorites for Italian.
Marble Steakhouse opened recently on Jericho Tpke in Floral Park and it's AMAZING! DH and I love the food and the décor there! It's such a nice restaurant.
There are a few more that are in Nassau but close enough in comparison:
Park Place (They have a mixed menu with wraps, soups, salads, pasta, pretty much everything)
Filomena's (Italian)
Umi (Japanese)

Giardino's is great, same owners as Russo's on the bay.
Il Bacco on Northern is also great. I think it is also Little Neck.

il toscano in douglaston is amaaaaazing!!!
la baraka is fantastic as well
both places need an updating as far as their decor goes but food and service are on point!
i went to giardinos once and my food was frozen in the middle. everytime i drive by i yell ( windows closed, no1 hears me) "noooooooo dont dooo itttttttttt" to the ppl walking in

Zum Stammtisch in Glendale (I'm not sure if this is really Eastern Queens though?)
If you are willing to go slightly over the Nassau border, King Umberto's in Elmont is phenomenal. Park Place in Floral Park and Pretty Toni's in Valley Stream are two of my favorites as well.

DH and I went to KYMA for our anniversary last year - it was really good. Also love Il Mulino in Roslyn.

I've just thought of a few other different ones I've been to in the last month or two...
Puerto Madera...Argentine restaurant in Flushing on westbound Horace Harding near Parsons Blvd.
Rincon Criollo...Cuban in Corona. To die for!
Burton & Doyle...my favorite steakhouse; well, that and Uncle Jack's.
