Flea Treatment for Indoor Cats now That we Have a Dog?
I have 2 cats-- 2 and 3 years old. They are strictly indoor and were the only pets, so I never gave them flea/heartworm tx. Now we have a dog that goes outside obviously-- should I start giving the cats flea/heartworm treatment?

Yes, Definitely treat them for fleas. (Not sure about the heartworm) I lived in a downstairs Apt. (with my dog) In my moms house and her cats got infested by fleas one year. The cats didn't really have contact with the dog. So I would protect the cats with Flea medicine

Yes because the dog can bring them in. Ask your vet what would be best
