Wall oven or Range

I'm having a hard time deciding on a layout for kitchen remodel. I like the sleek look of a wall oven and microwave combo in the wall, but my kitchen is not very big, and a conventional range would save space. Todays stoves have so many bels and whistles for a fraction of the price too. In your opinion, wall oven and cooktop? Or regular stove?

I have a double wall oven and a separate cooktop. The appliances were there in this configuration when we bought the house. I hope to remodel our kitchen in the next 5 years, and when I do, I will keep the double wall oven/separate cooktop set up.

I LOVE the double oven, and I like not having to bend down to check on food, put things in and out.

If the wall oven was a single oven and the kitchen was very small such that there isn't really adequate space for a wall oven (in that you'd be sacrificing vital cabinet or counter space), I'd go with the conventional range/oven combo.

I like to cook, so to me functionality comes first. And it's important to have cabinets for storage and counter space to work!

Wall oven or Range

I would say that it depends on your needs. If you entertain a lot, a wall oven may be better for you. If you barely know where the kitchen is, stick to the range.
Yes they look pretty, but the space needs to work for you.

If you have limited space, then i'd go with the range/stove

Ultimately the space is going to dictate which is better. We have recently done a small kitchen that balanced the refrigerator on one end and the wall oven/microwave on the other end with the cooktop in the middle. We ended up with 24 inches of counter space on either side of the cooktop, which worked out really well.
