I think it's fine - For work I must wear pantyhose (except in summer) if i have a skirt on. It is definitely not acceptable to have bare legs. I wouldn't wear with open toe shoes though.

I have to try the airbrush tanner where can you buy it??

Ulta, Target, CVS, even the supermarket in the cosmetics aisle.
It's with the Sally Hansen stuff- so usually nail products etc.

A friend wants to know..

Hanes Silk Reflections are what I usually wear.
A shade called Barely There is very neutral.

Hose made out of nylon are softer, but they will run.
Hose made out of other fibers including lycra and spandex will pull, rarely run, but are not as soft and can feel itchy.

The lower the denier number, the sheerer the hose. 7 is the lowest you can go, 80 the highest.

I worked in the industry a long while back.

Re: A friend wants to know..

I don't see the big deal either. Some people just don't have nice flawless legs and panty hose help
Out. I'm the winter I will wear them to a wedding. In the summer I don't. My legs are whit and pasty in the winter and I think they do keep you a little warmer. I will usually only wear black sheer with a black dress or a really good quality pair. I actually bought the same brand as Kate Middelton wears. Well what I reads she wears. I forget the name now. Never open toe shoes.

I never even think twice if I see someone wear them unless they are completely the wrong color for the persons skin or they have open toe shoes.

Does it rub off on anything? Is there drying time? Inquiring minds want to know!

Re: A friend wants to know..

IMO pantyhose are fine to wear in the appropriate setting. This time of year, I wouldn't. I work in a professional setting and I would never walk into a client meeting or court in the winter months without pantyhose on. Just couldn't do it.

It dries in like a minute.
I personally do find it rubs off on my car seats and desk chair sometimes but when I inquired on here once, others did not have that issue.
To be honest, i have showered with it on and unless you really rub with a wash cloth, it's pretty water proof even in the shower!
I just find it rubs off on my seat at work and my car seats- maybe my legs are sweating? Chat Icon
But it's worth it, I can't live without this stuff in the summer when i'm bare legged

I totally wear them with formal wear.

a - control top Chat Icon
b - give color to WHITE legs
c - hide imperfections like those awesome veins I acquired while housing two growing babies.

As long as they are a normal shade for your skin tone, do it! I feel WAY more comfortable in them but I hate my legs.
