Just put my cat to sleep
She hasn't been herself for a few weeks and over the past few days, developed an infection in her eye and wasn't eating and drinking.
I went to the VMCLI and they did blood work and said her kidneys were shot.
I knew going in it probably wasn't going to be good news because she had lost a ton of weight.
The worst was I had DS with me but he handled himself with such a maturity that was beyond his years.
It was really so peaceful.
I have lost a pet before, but much more sudden and at home.
RIP Zoey.
