Yay or Nay? If Yay...which ones??

Eta if Nay, did you ever have an issue with arms/legs going between the crib slats or head bumps?

Breathable Bumpers

I never used them. Dd has gotten her leg stuck maybe 3 times, cried hysterically and I quickly went in and freed her. She did it more when she was younger. She is 12 months.

She has bumped her head a couple of times, but the breathable bumpers don't have any cushion so that would happen with or without them.

Re: Breathable Bumpers

Dd has them in her crib. She was putting her arms and legs through the slats and is a very fidgety sleeper. I was afraid she'd roll over and get her leg stuck. We've had no problems with them.

I've never used anything. Dd has never gotten stuck or hurt. I'd be worried about her getting tangled in them. Something like a bumper even breathable I am too paranoid to deal with.

All I registered for were crib sheets and mattress pads. No bedding at all. Now at 22mos that is still how she sleeps. So there was no point for me in buying.

We didn't start using them until DD kept getting her foot stuck between the railings. It was waking her up about once a night. We are very happy with ours.

Highly recommend wonder bumpers. They are alittle $$$$ but worth it. They go around the slats of the crib. No tangling to worry about. Also as bsby starts to stand up you don't need to worry about them using the bumper as a step to climb over. Best purchase we ever made for the nursery. Wonder bumpers!!!

Re: Breathable Bumpers

Nay. I have them and think they're pointless. They provide no padding and they don't even fit the crib well. I wouldn't bother.

This!! I'm really surprised I don't see a lot more people on here recommending them. I love mine! I was lucky enough to win my set through a Bellini giveaway, but will definitely purchase another set next time around.

Re: Breathable Bumpers

We use them and love them. Keeps her hands and feet in, offers some cushioning, and she hasn't ever tried to stand on them (if she did, the would probably just collapse down anyways).

Definitely no.

We bought them for DS but they were pretty pointless. Took them off and threw them away.
