help planning vacation dinners

DH and DS are going away for a week in PA.
They will be mostly at a cabin, and want to avoid food trips.

Can you help me come up with meals I can make ahead of time that they can take with them?

so far I was thinking:

traditional lasagna

veggie lasagna (zucchini instead of pasta)

marinated chicken for grill

burgers and hotdogs

rice and veggies as a side

cold cuts and bread for sandwiches

any other ideas i can make ahead that DH can just heat up? it'll just be the two of them so something quick and easy is best

Chili reheats well.

Maybe a mac and cheese type casserole with ham or chicken added.

Pulled pork. Reheat and throw on rolls with coleslaw.

Simple sliced veggies and baby carrots make an easy veggie side. You can make them some dip or hummus for them.

Breaded chicken cutlets - could be warmed up or eaten cold

Baked ziti

Sausage and peppers

Cold pasta salad - tortellini is my favorite

Maybe pack taco fixings, so if your DH is going to do chicken on the grill (or even steak), they can use the leftovers to make tacos. It's easy enough to pack tortillas, salsa, guac, shredded cheese, etc And you can maybe make a bean dish or salad for the side (black bean and corn salad, etc.).

My DS loves pancakes, so maybe make a batch of pancakes (or waffles) that can be frozen and just popped in the microwave or toaster. They can be good breakfasts or even a snack (my DS likes to eat a pancake or waffle with peanut butter on it).
