Pelvic pain/pressure at 28 weeks
So I'm 28 weeks and I'm feeling a lot of pressure and pain in my pelvic area. I never had this with my 1st pregnancy. Btdt-normal? I feel like I'm about to give birth next week. It hurts when I walk. Don't know how I'll make it to the end feeling this way!

You may want to give your OB a call- I had this at 28 weeks and it was premature contractions- thankfully they were not productive just uncomfortable. I was told to take it easy and stay hydrated.

ditto - I'd call but most likely fine - just take it easy. I'm 26 weeks with twins and feel that pressure a lot, esp. when I'm walking a lot or doing too much - I try to take it easy when that happens. If you're worried just call OB, otherwise, rest and see how you feel after.

Re: Pelvic pain/pressure at 28 weeks
I always forget the medical name for it, but I've had a lot of pelvic pain since sometimes in weeks 20+, I forget exact time. I ended up going to my doctor when I first started feeling it because I could barely walk, move, and literally felt like the baby was coming out. Ended up being that there's two bones in the pelvic area that were basically causing friction against eachother and they move slightly (common w/ some pregnant women). All that's helped is getting up slowly, not overdoing it, sometimes a heating pad. Now at 36+ weeks, it's acting up again especially when I'm sleeping on the side. Def check w/ your doctor in case it's not something else but sounds a lot like what I've been feeling.
