If you have Verizon FIOS, please come in...
Would you please share with me what you pay for your FIOS package and what it includes? My bill went up about $15 this month due to an expiring credit and it is going to go up another $20 next month due to another expiring credit. Right now I have FIOS internet/phone/ tv with the top movie package. I was told that there is no way they could give me those credits back or match what I was paying before, the most they could do for me is reduce me down to just getting HBO/Showtime and my bill next month would only go up another $5 instead of $20. (I even threatened to switch to Optimum but they didn't care). I do have a call into Optimum so I will see what they are offering as well, I just wanted to get a sense of what you are paying... you can FM if you want... TIA!

Just went through this as my contract expired. We were payin 160 for the triple play with hbo show time multi room dvr with 4 boxes.
They told me I had a credit expiring for 20$. I wanted to pay the same and the only way to keep it at that price was to drop hbo.
So now I'm paying 165 WITHOUT HBO.
I basically get nothing.
But I hate cable more so.... Yeah.

Way too much. My bill is about $230 a month. I have 5 boxes, 1 cable card and multi room dvr. I also have about $40 a month in credits that are expiring in november. We have phone and Internet as well. Our package includes all movie channels.
But optimum is not that much cheaper. I have optimum service in another home and it is $170 a month. 2 dvr boxes, phone and internet. All the channels. It's outrageous.

Way too much and in order to cancel I would have to pay an early termination fee. One box with all movie channels right now is $169. As of Sept when credits expire like $190. They won't negotiate.

I just rejoined and have triple play for 69.99 mo/2 yrs (contract) plus taxes. We bought Roku which almost eliminates the need for extra boxes, DVR and the movies channels.
