Neurologist

My son has Cerebral Palsy. The neurologist we were seeing moved too far for us to continue to see her. Dr. Bergtraum was recommended to us, but I heard she doesn't accept insurance. Anyone know about how much she charges for an initial visit or a follow up visit? Or is there anyone else you would recommend? Thanks!

Use Dr. Jeret in Rockville Centre. He specializes in serving the ID/DD population. He is amazing and most individuals we serve (I work for AHRC-NASSAU) use him as their provider. I have never heard of a complaint. His number is (516) 593-5800 and he is located on 220 maple Ave in RVC. I know he has a suite number but not sure what it is off the top of my head. If he does not work for you let me know and I can give you a few other recs however he would be the best.

Re: Neurologist

We've used the pediatric neurologist at both Stonybrook and The Center for Pediatric Care at Good Sam. The one at Good Sam was okay. Stonybrook I really liked, Dr. Andriola, she's supposed to be one of the best.

I've heard really good things about Dr. Maytal and Smith at Cohens also. Overall, I have heard great things about Cohens.
