If Fernando did your pavers...how long ago did he do them and how have them held up?

Same here. He did a huge patio with fire pit in back yard and a front walkway and driveway in front.
We are very happy with the work and the quality.

We got them 3 or 4 years ago. Great so far and we are using them in our new home too!

Me too, 3 years ago, patio, pool pavers, fire pit, front walk and driveway apron. Still looks great. But, we sealed them right afterwards. Don't know why more paver companies don't push this more. I definitely would recommend sealing.

Fernando just finished our job a few weeks ago but told us not to seal anything until around Oct/Nov once all the pavers had time to settle. Also, a bunch of the stone has some natural imperfections, which when exposed to sun oxidizes and disappears so the stone is uniform. Fernando told us if we sealed right away, we would be trapping in the defects. Hmmmm???

Honestly dont know. 3 years later, we're still good. BTW, Fernando didn't do the sealing, my husband did.

He's right, pavers are blended with cement I believe and the moisture needs to evaporate. You will see white stuff on it which is called effervesce. That takes time to go away. It will happen with natural stone and brick too.
