weight gain after stopped pump/nursing
I nursed/pumped for a year and never got my period. I stopped about a month ago and the milk finally stopped coming in about 2 weeks ago. I've been exercising a lot and losing a little weight but now after I stopped the milk production I feel like I gained 4 pounds, I've been having dessert too. anyone with a similar situation?

yes. The pumping definitely burned a lot of calories. I have been running a lot the past month & so I haven't gained weight but I haven't lost any either. I'm also eating a little less because when I was pumping I was always hungry, and still my weight is staying steady.

I actually didnt lose the last 5-10 lbs until after I fully weaned. I weaned at 27.5 months.

i gained a full 10 pounds after i stopped nursing.

breastfeeding burns a lot of calories. I think a lot of people experience weight gain when they stop

Yup, me and I feel like my metabolism is the slowest it's ever been.
