Can acknowledge the fact that the 3 innocent teens kidnapped were not done so by Hamas?
Can we acknowledge the fact that the Israeli soldier was most likely killed by their own missile?
2 MAJOR tragedies that happened under supposed Hamas Terrorist have been deemed untrue, whose to say that the rest isn't also?
Actually, I'm fairly certain that the culprits behind the kidnapping and murder of the three Israeli teens has not been accurately identified at this point. So it is not true to say that it has been proven that Hamas is not responsible.
I don't know which Israeli soldier you are referring to, but if 1 of the 60-something was not killed by Hamas, there are still 60-something others who were. Further, there is plenty of evidence of Hamas killing Gazan citizens, so I'm not sure what your point is?
The history of Hamas using tactics such as human shields, schools and hospitals to store weapons, ambulances to transport them, and funneling aid money into terrorist activities is well-documented by the international community.
And why don't you acknowledge that Hamas is a terrorist group, and that both sides at the very, very least share some of the blame for this conflict. And then there can be a discussion. So far, I have seen nothing come from you that is not propaganda.
Bunnywife, I'm sorry for my tone here. I'm really trying. But with this, I just can't anymore.
Why is it unreasonable to question these reports when other ones have been unfounded?
I do think that both sides are to blame. I do think that Israel does have the power to end it and I hope that both sides find peace.

You're right. Israel has the power to end it - because they have the military strength to completely wipe Gaza out, and they have been showing restraint in not doing so. Beyond that, I'm not sure what power to end it you think Israel has?
Going back 65 years, I can cite (from unbiased, reputable sources) perhaps a dozen times that Israel has accepted a peace agreement that has either been turned down or violated by the Palestinian leadership. While this current government may not be, Israeli leaders in the past have been moderate or left-leaning, willing to accept a two-state solution. The current Palestinian leadership, mostly due to the hard-lining terrorist group Hamas, refuses to accept any solution that allows Israel to exist. This, again, is documented. Just in the last couple days, the US President and Secretary of State condemned Hamas for violating the most recent ceasefire.
I don't know you, but you seem very interested in this current conflict, without much knowledge of the long-standing history of ongoing conflict.

Do u not believe what our government says about Hamas! But this can go on and on and is useless I just can't keep up this useless discussions that is

Also, who cares if it is from 2008. It their belief system. Anyway, I don't see the point of going back and forth any longer. I we can't agree that Hamas is a terrorist organization there is nothing more to say. Maybe in our descendants life time there will be peace, but I doubt it will come before that.

I have been lurking on this thread and wanting to chime in but was resistant after how things went down last time. Things that I said were taken way out of context, quoted, and then the thread was locked. I believe at some point someone even hinted that I was being anti-semitic 
With that being said, I learned a lot from both threads. For the most part, you can support Israel's right to exist and not support the actions of their government, you can support the Palestinian people's right to exist as a free state and not support Hamas. You can be proud to be an American and not support how our government is (and is not) intervening with the crisis.
I am praying that the cease fire today is honored by both sides and that the talks end up with a resolution.

I'm hoping this cease fire sticks. For continued peace, yes I agree Hamas needs to be overthrown but Israel needs to stop land grabbing and creating new settlements on land that is meant for the Arabs. Stop the open partiality of two sets of laws and that Arab Muslims are the people of the land just as much as the ethnic Jews - both descendants of brothers Isaac and Ishamel.

What land grabbing? Gaza was given back to the Arabs no jewish people lived in Gaza! What two sets of laws exists in Israel? Just pray for, peace for both sides! Can't negotiate with people who don't want to recognize the existence of their neighbors.

Please, with all due respect understand that there new settlements being built on land that was promised to the Arabs in Gaza and in West Bank. There are plenty of literature out there where this is detailed and it cannot be denied. And you are absolutely correct.. you cannot negotiate with neighbours if you cannot recognize or their right to exist.
ETA: I would highly suggest you watch the video I posted a couple of pages back about the two sets of laws for Israelis an Palestinians. You may not want to agree with it, but it is a perspective of living on the other side.

Israel can negotiate and will negotiate land return. But must be assured of the safety of its citizens. Gaza was completely returned and became a place of terror. With that lesson, why would Israel even consider giving back any more territory to people wha state they want to kill you!

The people of Gaza were free to create a state and secure the welfare and safety of their citizens. They chose to use Gaza as a place of terror. They used money given to benefit the future of the people to buy bombs build sophisticated tunnels to kill people. Please come to Israel and see for yourself the land, people and safety networks they have put in place for all it's people both Israeli and Arab .. The IDF is an army composed of both Israeli and Arab citizens seeking to secure the safety of all it's citizens.

It is true that Palestinians voted Hamas in, but I can imagine it was not a clean and fair election and once again remind you that they are terrorists and surely made empty promises, used scare tactics, etc. I take no credit, am pro Israel and recommend reading "the Arabs" by David lamb..

Please be careful what you read on Facebook.... There is also an essay supposedly written by Dennis Miller about the "history of Palestine" which goes on to say how there are no Palestinians because Palestine never existed. People are not only believing this but are also reposting.
He didn't write the article either.
