How to keep couch from moving? Sorry, long description!

In my living room, I have a bow window (kinda like a bay window but not as severe), with a couch in front of it. I also have a curtain rod over the bow window, with grommet panels on each side. On the floor behind the couch, running along the wall is baseboard.

So my problem/question is that I don't like the couch flush again the baseboard because then the curtains get smooshed. I like the couch about 5 inches away from the baseboard, so the curtains can go behind the couch on the ends. Every time someone sits on the couch and gets up, the couch moves back a bit and is up against the baseboard before I know it. I'm tried of pulling the couch back out multiple times a day. Anything I can put behind the couch to keep it from moving against the baseboard? I was thinking a long 2 x 4 piece of wood? It wouldn't be visible since its behind the couch, so it doesn't have to be "pretty" -- just functional. Thoughts?

What about that non-slip mat that goes under rugs? You can cut pieces and put it under the legs of your couch so it doesn't slip?

What about these? These are what I use under my couch to prevent it from sliding on my wood floors.

Nonskid caster cups

They sell non slid things you stick to the bottoms of the legs. They work well. I found them at Target or the like

DH and I had a similar issue. We used small pieces of 2x4s behind the legs to keep it from moving.

If the non-skid things don't work, would you consider getting a sofa table that can go between the wall and couch? One with a complete open bottom part.
