I saw this on Craigslist. Kind of weird to me for NYC Schools to be posting on Craigslist but it's worth a shot!
We are seeking teachers for a public school in Queens. School name is disclosed for privacy reasons.
Candidates must already be a certified teacher.
We currently have the following vacancies available:
-Kindergarten
-First grade
-Fifth grade
You must send required documents to be considered:
-Resume
-ELA/ Literacy lesson(s) with students' work/worksheets
-Math lesson(s) with students' work/worksheets.
It is also recommend to email the following:
-Any supervisor/principal evaluations
-Data samples
***WE WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY APPLICANT WHO DOES NOT SEND THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ABOVE

I thought it was odd that it was on Craig's List too but since the Open Market closed in early August, they may have only recently found out that those three positions are gonna be open and need to fill them.
I actually e-mailed all of my info for that listing last night.

I have emailed principals and nothing! I feel like being an ATR has such a stigma. Also, I think people see where I work and get scared...My school was named one of the most dangerous in NYC and I was also the UFT chapter leader. Yeah I have a lot going against me.
