Which Disney resort?
I am getting ready to book a Disney trip for February and I am totally lost about which resort to pick. I am looking at the Port Orleans resorts, Caribbean Beach, and Wilderness Lodge, but am open to anything on property. Reccos?

Re: Which Disney resort?
all the Disney resorts are great- I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them! I've never actually stayed in wilderness lodge- BUT spent a lot of time there bc we stayed at Fort Wilderness campground, and there is a bike trail that goes between the 2. its nice if you're going to spend a lot of time at magic kingdom because theres the ferry boat you can take there- such a cool way to get there, and a little bit quicker than the buses. they have a nice pool area, too.

Which Disney resort?
Wilderness Lodge is awesome! The others are too spread out for my liking, too many internal bus stops. Wilderness Lodge has a direct boat to the MK. Gorgeous resort, and all under one roof.

Re: Which Disney resort?
I LOVED PO Riverside. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms were really nice too. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend that resort.

Re: Which Disney resort?
We have only stayed at Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Absolutely loved both.

Wilderness Lodge has a direct boat to MK. I thought that was a huge plus. So convenient.

Re: Which Disney resort?
Out of the ones you listed I'd pick Wilderness Lodge. Been there and enjoyed it. I really love Animal Kingdom Lodge safari room view rooms but people complain that it is a little far from everything but Animal Kingdom. I was suppose to go to Port Orleans soon which is suppose to be very nice just more spread out and not as convenient but cheaper than the ones above. We recently changed out reservation to the Dolphin when a 5 person room finally opened up for our week. We stayed there before and really enjoyed it. We can use miles and it is walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Not a Disney resort but on property and can use Disney transportation (just not the airport shuttles).

We stayed at Dolphin for our last trip. Was so easy to get to Epcot and HS. I think we went to EP daily to eat.

Do you have little ones? One of the hotels on the monorail line maybe more accessible for you although I'd skip the Poly as it is under construction. The Wilderness is nice but the noise from the Cafe is annoying.

Which Disney resort?
My sister loves Wilderness. She has 2 kids and the sleeping arrangements work great for her. Neither of us have stayed at Caribbean Beach, but I LOVE PO French Quarter. French Quarter is smaller than Riverside, so it's easily walkable everywhere within the resort. If you want you can hop the bus (or walk) to Riverside. It has a launch to downtown which should be open again by February (it is temporarily closed due to downtown construction).

Re: Which Disney resort?
I stayed at Wilderness Lodge in March and loved it but FYI they are closing the pool for reno in November so I would check whether it will be open in Feb before booking.
