Replacing Oil Tank
So our oil tank is leaking. Petro came yesterday and condemned it and we need to replace it... Fun right!? Anyway- we are waiting for the estimate. How much does this cost? Does anyone know (it's an above ground take located in my garage which is easy thank god)

Re: Replacing Oil Tank
I had looked in to the cost with a different company, and it was about $1300 for a 275ga tank. hth!

Re: Replacing Oil Tank
We did ours about 9 yrs ago and it wasn't too costly. We actually abandoned the old underground tank and then had the new 275 gallon one installed above ground. I believe we paid well under $2K for everything.

Replacing Oil Tank
Petro did this for us many years ago. I didn't bother to shop around because we use them for oil and service. However, my FIL had it done a few years later and paid hundreds less. My advice is to get a few estimates if you can.
