If you are switching over to gas and have an oil burner that still has oil in it, what do you do with it? Are you out that money? DO you call a company to remove the oil burner and they pay you for the oil? Alittle confused on how this works. tks!

We used as much of the oil as possible, leaving very little. We stopped all the deliveries.

The company that installed our gas also removed the oil tank and disposed of it.

ITA, try and use up all the oil in your tank first

we only had about 1/4 left in our tank when we did our switch, so DH pumped the remaining oil out and put it into his grandmothers tank, this way the oil wasn't being wasted

When we had the gas setup they removed our oil tank at the same time
