Ulcerative colitis
Does anyone have this? I'm having my colonoscopy on Thursday to confirm. What kind of treatments are there?

before you start worrying, wait for your results. they told me I had Crohns disease (positive blood test) and I went crazy looking up stuff and getting stressed. After the colonoscopy and endo, they said I didnt

I was recently diagnosed. I am on Lialda and so far have been responding well. I have also been on a high grain diet while I try to get it in check. Pls feel free to FM.

Yes, I was diagnosed with this about a year ago. I took Lialda for about 6 months and then was able to stop taking it and so far so good... I do know that, for me, it helps if I watch what I eat (just eating natural is best for me), get sleep!!!!, decrease stress, etc...

I was also told by blood results Crohn's. Turned out not to be accurate. It requires more than one indication.
