Any non cat/dog pets?

Since childhood, I've had pet cats, dogs, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and fish.

DD has been asking for a pet for a while, so we recently got a hamster. Very friendly, loves running around the living room in his ball. She's actually spending more time with the hamster than I originally thought.

Anyone else here currently have a pet other than a cat or dog?

I used to have iguanas when I was younger...I loved them so much! I would love to do it again, but we have three cats and it's already a PITA when we travel (we board them because too many people I know are burnouts and I can't trust them to make sure the cats don't escape the door)...iguanas are high maintenance and right now, it just wouldn't work for us. One day, though, I'll definitely get another iguana!

Now I only have a cat but growing up, we had (besides our yellow lab and cat):

red-eared slider turtle
tree frog
ball python snake
hamsters

We have a cat and dog but I also have chickens and outdoor rabbits. I'm an animal lover so I've had a horse, a snake, an iguana, lots of fish and gerbils over the years.
I really would like Pygmy goats.

I rescued a bunny a few years back; we just adored him to tears. Such a personality. But fragile health wise. He passed 3 years after I found him but I would have one again. DH is like

Over the years I have owned pretty much everything except cats.

Birds, lizards, rodents, ferrets, fish...

Right now I have a dog, fish and 2 hamsters. Next planned pet are guinea pigs

At the moment I just have cats. But I've had a lot of different types of pets: guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, ferrets, lots and lots of fish, a dog, and birds. My sister was a vet tech growing up, so she was always bringing stuff home.

I'd love to have birds again, but I do not trust my cats at all! Growing up, one of my cats got to the birds and killed one . We had another close call with a mouse, but I stopped that. Another time my ferret got to one of my fish .

I'm hoping to get a fish tank this year or next, but they are $$$$ to set up.

indoor rabbit:) too cute, rabbits love being inside and being around people, not the best with kids because they hate being picked up which kids love to do.
Growing up I had the standard gold fish.

Right now we only have a dog but growing up I had a ton of different animals!

I would have a farm of animals if I had the money..and the time!

I grew up with parrots. I had a small parrot when I lived on my own, as well as 2 ferrets and a hedgehog! All great pets!!

I have a pet bunny. He's now 3 - just adorable. He's our second rabbit. I had a dwarf rabbit who lived to be 13.

I swore I'd never get another rabbit, but DH brought this latest one home one day and needless to say, I fell in

He's a giant mush - loves to be held, cuddled and pet. He hops on the couch and watches TV with us and is 100% litter box trained.
