Food ideas for a 1 year old
I need food ideas for my 1 year old DD. She loves cheese! Pancakes, French toast, waffles, cream cheese and jelly sandwiches. She eats yogurt and applesauce. Fruit most kinds loves pouches. She eats eggs and snack foods like puffs, yogurt melts, mum mums, and snack bars. All of the sudden she does not like meat. Won't eat pasta anymore. She used to love meat balls and sausage, and would eat cut up chicken. I don't know what else to give her. She won't eat any meats really I'm afraid she's not getting enough protein. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Food ideas for a 1 year old
Unfortunately its the age. Dd will either inhale everything all day or barely look at it. I offer her meat at every meal but 99% of the time she won't touch it. My dr said keep offering and as long as dd is eating fruits and veggies the dr wasn't concerned. I keep watermelon and apple sauce on hand all times because she never says no to them. Good luck I know how frustrating it is.

Re: Food ideas for a 1 year old
i think thats pretty common...at 18 months i still have that problem with dd. one day she will eat it, the next day she wont. this week, the new way we get her to eat it is by giving her ketchup. cant hurt to try mixing chicken with her pasta and seeing if the sauce helps her eat it

Open faced grilled cheese, sunflower seed butter on bread, frittatas, beans, edamame, mixed frozen veggies (heated), shredded cheese, veggie burger w/ cheese and fries, baked shredded veggie patties, muffins(pumpkin, buleberry, zucchini...).
We are vegetarians so I usually try to do a bread, dairy, veggie and fruit at every meal. Protein comes from so many sources, it's not hard to get at all. It iron and B vitamins you need to look out for when your not ratting meat. I give my 13 month old all the foods you mentioned in your previous post plus the ones I mentioned. Breakfast is the same everyday, fortified happy bellies baby oatmeal and a banana. Lunch and dinner vary. My DS also gets three 8 oz bottles of milk.

Re: Food ideas for a 1 year old
2 eggs a day is enough protein.
Hummus is good because beans are a good protein. DD liked hummus with a spoon, or put it on vegetables or on a sandwich.
I was also giving egg salad (I mixed it with yogurt rather than mayonnaise), grilled cheese, cheese slices, soups (all different kinds), quiches/mini-frittatas/egg-muffins, etc.
By 1.5, I added peanut butter and I make chicken salad and fish salad mixed with yogurt and/or applesauce and she eats it. If its alone or not coated in yogurt or applesauce she will not eat it.

DD gets most of her protein from eggs, yogurt, and peanut butter lately. Right now the only meats she'll really go for are fish sticks or earth's best mini meatballs. Sometimes she'll have a few bites of chicken nuggets or a piece of ham (usually she begs for a slice at the deli counter and eats that but then won't eat it at home of course). I also try to sneak meat or beans into cheese quesadillas but she's not usually happy about that!
Unfortunately DD is most willing to eat frozen, prepared meat so I give her that some days and the rest of the time she gets what I made and if she doesn't eat it then that's it. I just made a big batch of homemade mini meatballs to see if she'll think they're the earth's best ones. We'll see! Homemade chicken nuggets are usually hit or miss.

Protein is only 15% of your diet.. so I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure between the eggs and yogurt she's getting enough. It may not hurt to try adding beans...

Re: Food ideas for a 1 year old
I have a hard time coming up with new foods too. DD is not a big meat eater so I worry that she's getting enough protein too. She's cutting molars now so that's a whole other issue.
We do lots of similar things: yogurt, she loves all types of fruits, string cheese, Cheerios, applesauce. She loves pasta. Recently, I introduced mixed veggies, the frozen carrots, peas, corn, and green beans. Just microwave in a bit of water and she surprisingly gobbled it up. She recently started eating tomatoes. Turkey plain and also in applesauce to mask it. Just tonight, my mom gave her pieces of chicken with a bit of American cheese and she actually ate some.
