PSEG Rebate Question

For anyone that got something installed where it entitled you to a PSEG Rebate, approx. how long did it take for you to receive the rebate?

We had a new Central AC unit installed in mid-July, and we were told we would get a 1k rebate from PSEG. So far we have not received anything. So I was just wondering how long it should normally take.

Also should I be calling the AC company, or PSEG directly to find out the status of the rebate?

PSEG Rebate Question

I think lipa STILL owes me $125 for a fridge I bought almost two years ago ... I called the store I bought it from at one point (about 6 months after purchase) and they told me that lipa was delayed but i should get it "soon" ... never got it and totally forgot about it so I never called again.

You can call now just in case ... can't hurt

PSEG Rebate Question

The rebate should come from PSEG directly, I dont think the AC company has anything to do with it. We are in the process of converting to gas and we were told the rebate could take 8-10 weeks after installation, and that it would come directly from PSEG. I'd probably give it another week or so before you call, as I imagine it will be a huge headache trying to get through to the right person who would be able to give you that answer!

We did a CAC install in May and didn't get our rebate check from LIPA until August....and it took constant phone calls and nagging to LIPA. Its out of the companies hands once they submit the paperwork to LIPA.

Note: this was in 2009 or sometime in that timeframe.
