Ha! I posted this Q with the hope of learning that what I spend is the average, or maybe just slightly above...
It's had the opposite effect!! Yikes!
Where are you people shopping that you can get away with 400 bucks a year?

I was going to say the same thing lol. I easily spend that much every season, not including shoes where I have an illness and spend more on her shoes then I do my own lol.

me too, I have a boy and I may spend a couple of hundred dollars a year on just his shoes.
I also shop deals and sales at Target, Old Navy, H&M,Marshall's and TJ Maxx but it still adds up in quantity I guess.

Haha i think i spent $450 on summer clothes haha i def have a disease. I just started winter shopping and already spent about $200. And its not even the tip of the iceberg lol i havent even truly started. And everything minus 1 item was on sale. $450 for the year boggles my mind. Im just happy my dh doesnt read this forums! Haha Shoes omg shes got more and better shoes than i do. Literally. Lol she had about 7 pairs of sandals.this summer. I had 2. Hahaha i just cant control myself.

I'm impressed by the self control, however I lack that in a big way and spend easily 2k per season. This is for 2 kids, and the younger gets 2/3 from older.
