Psychologist??
Looking for a psychologist or somebody to help with DS who has ADHD and most likely OCD and anxiety. The neurologist recommended family therapy, but I didn't know any in the west Islip area. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

A little farther away, but I used Dr. Steven Baron for my initial assessment for DS.
He's in Massapequa on Sunrise in the building with the big Indian statue.
If anything, maybe he can give you a rec.
He sits on the board for Kidz Therapies I believe, and was really the only psychologist who actually returned any of my phone calls.
He also picked up right away on DS ADHD and sensory stuff and he was a lot smaller....around 3 or almost 4 at the time.

Psychologist??
Dr. Steven Aletkin in Bellmore. He even has a Saturday morning group for kids with ADHD, and anxiety.
