Where did you have your child's first birthday??
Can you guys throw out names of places to have a first birthday party?! Places you've either been to or had a shower, party, etc at and liked? We have a rather large family, so probably inviting close to 100 people. I know some might it's crazy to have a big birthday but I'd appreciate any and all suggestions as to where to look - it'll be in March!

Where did you have your child's first birthday??
What area are you looking in. My baby shower (it was coed) was knights of Columbus in Oceanside it included open bar food cake I think centerpieces and I think it was $35pp not 100% sure. I also have had a party at Vfw Levittown and it was $800 that Inluded beer wine soda your brought your own food.

Domenicos in Levittown. Very reasonable and they have a bunch of different sized rooms.

I had DS's 1st birthday at the Vulcan Firehouse in Lynbrook. I rented the room and catered in food. It held 100 people. They also let the kids go on the firetrucks.

We had DD's at a country club and DS's at Babylon Carriage House.

I had DD's first b-day at our local town recreation center. They provided the tables and chairs and even had a full size kitchen to use. I had it catered and hired a clown.

We rented the room at the North Bellmore Fire Department for my first DS. For the second, we did a BBQ at Cedar Creek Park.
