Question about LI IVF
Do any of you ladies know if LI IVF is considered a Center of Excellence with Empire NYSHIP? Thank you in advance for the help.

Question about LI IVF
Yes - it is considered a center of excellence for NYSHIP. No co-pays until you get pregnant.

I have BCBS; but I think Empire NYSHIP is something totally different. Although I wish I had those benefits!

Question about LI IVF
I have BC BS and i is not LOL I am going for my first IUI this month and they told me AFTER insurance out of pocket will be around 4-$500 for the month. Then I went to fill my clomid script and they slapped me again by telling me that is not covered. It was only $20, but I had no idea a clomid cycle would cost so much, and we have really good insurance through the union.

Re: Question about LI IVF
NYSHIP is a government employee insurance specifically school/teachers. I think that the benefits are great and when I did over 2 years at RS between IUI's and IVF, I laid out very little since my insurance considered them a Center of Excellence. I'm sorry to hear that BCBS is not the same for you ladies. I just wondered about LI IVF in the event I did try to go there since RS seems to no longer be a C of E. Best of luck Ladies :)
