Re: How do you balance ...
I struggle with this too. I feel like my house is constantly a mess and now with DD into everything, she basically trashes it even more. We actually call her little tornado.
There are just not enough hours in the day. My kitchen table is the bane of my existence with the paper and clutter that accumulates. Laundry too. I mean I seriously can do laundry every.single.day and it just does not lessen. We do what we can and just deal.

Re: How do you balance ...
I was home for almost a year and I felt that most of my day was tidying up after meals, laundry etc. And my house is far from immaculate lol. But I also wanted to make sure I enjoyed my kids as much as possible because I know how fast it goes. I recently went back to work, I didn't realize how much "work" I did at home until I had to do it after my "paying job". I have been back almost 4 months now and I still haven't found a balance, but we recently hired a babysitter who (upon hiring) tidies up and folds/[put away the girls laundry. To be able to come home and not have to worry about that helps me tremendously. Also, if you can swing a cleaning crew 1-2 times a month, that also helps.
