School & County Tax Reciepts

How long are you supposed to keep these for? I just got my 1st half school tax receipt yesterday and usually put them all in a file, but I noticed that I have a ton of these spanning back almost 5 years that we've been in our house. Is it necessary to hold on to these, and if so, for how many years?

Generally, if you get audited, it will go back 3 years, though it's possible to go back further. I'd save them, especially if it's only 5 years worth.
