Babymoon in close driving distance?

We want to go somewhere for a weekend, prob in march or April. Somewhere not too far, that doesn't revolve around drinking :) so no wineries, casinos. Looking more for a relaxing spa hotel. Any recs?

Babymoon in close driving distance?

There are so many. Lodge at woodloch is the first one that comes to mind.

Re: Babymoon in close driving distance?

Great question because I'd like to hear others ideas.

My ideas depending on time of year could be somewhere like Mystic CT, Fire Island or New Paltz - the Mohonk Mountain House is supposed to be amazing but you need to book sort of a good amount in advance.

If anyone is a yogi...I am daydreaming of maybe doing Kripalu for our Babymoon. Healthy yoga spa retreat mmm:)

Love Mohonk house but my two gripes about that establishment is- too many kids and the food is so so.

Much prefer Woodloch Lodge as its adults only and the food is amazing.

Both are roughly in the same price range...

I haven't been to Mohonk but sad to hear there are a lot of kids and the food isn't great!! Thought it was supposed to be the opposite of that. Too bad. I will look into Woodloch Lodge!

I'm not a fan of going to a spa pregnant. Massages are really not as good as when you are not.

I second this! LOVE grand cascades! The heated pool is calling my name. Plus if you're feeling fancy, you can go to Restaurant Latour which is DELICIOUS! It's pricey but soooooo worth it!
