Re: Anyone use essential oils
Yes - just started getting into them. Made body scrubs for Christmas. I also diffuse at night. I bought a $20 diffuser from amazon. Works great!
My favorites are: lavender, eucalyptus, grapefruit, lemongrass, lemon. I bought mine at TJ Maxx! I also bought a couple at GNC. Do research. You definitely want pure oils. I firmly believe you DONT have to spend a fortune on oils from direct sales companies. You can find great ones if you read labels and do research. Whole Foods has some too.

I was told once that they are irritating if directly applied to the skin. Is this not true?
yes. you need a carrier like an oil or coconut oil.
I put Thieves on my kids and it burns once applied so a carrier is helpful or placing it elsewhere....like heels of the foot.
I was told that Thieves couldn't be applied to the skin. Just through a diffuser? I thought you could too. I mix it with a carrier oil and put it on their feet. My kids do not ingest any oils though I also put it on a tissue and run the humidifier
check out the website and the fb group lcherian posted. it's very eye opening. there are reasons the FDA is trying to regulate how oils are marketed. I prefer to get my information from a certified aromatherapist rather than a marketing rep from a MLM.

I take it back - apparently it was $35. Huh. Didn't think I spent $35.
In any case, it's called greenair spa vapor. I like it. If you want to use it for a large room though, you might want to consider a different one. Works great in my bedroom.

Anyone use essential oils
I use Young Living. Thieves i use to keep sickness at bay. Every night my husband and i use a drop of Lavender on the base of the neck, Cedarwood behind both ears and we sleep like babies. Peace and Calming is nice for anxiety too.
