Retro pay in October

Hi ladies, does anyone know the answer to this? If I'm on maternity leave-( off payroll through FMLA only for the 12 weeks) am I still entitled to the retro pay out in October? (the 12.5%?) I see myself getting s c r ewed by the DOE Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon does anyone know?! Thanks so much!

I came off payroll last year (medical sabbatical) and didn't get to vote on the contract, I also didn't get the check that was cut in mayor June for retro.

I heard that with the bonus sign anyone who was on leave would not be entitled but retro check is "supposedly" different. I'm going to ask the union rep and see

Albeit, by the time you get it, it might be May with the way they work. I know for sure you are entitled to it!

Rumor has it , yes. If you are still off payrol in oct you will receive it the October you return as long as it is before 2023 or soemthing like that. I can't find it in print right now, so the 2023 date might be wrong.

Yes! In the Uft site, the q and a section thats what it says. I will be getting it the following October 1st. At this point, I'm just happy im entitled to it the way these loopholes have been embedded within this contract!! Thank you to all for your replies!!!
