FSH level

I had my day 3 blood done today. FSH was elevated at 12 but has been normal up until now. AMH was normal. Doctor did not seem extremely concerned and still wants me to do a medicated IUI cycle this month. I'm scared it will result in a 3rd miscarriage. Anyone have any insight?

I wouldn't be concerned with a 12. I did IVF with a FSH as high as 24. That # can change from cycle to cycle. Good luck with the IUI.

FSH level

During 1 of my IUI cycles my FSH went up to 12 too. My RE pointed it out to me but wasn't too concerned. I would say my FSH was always between 8 and 12 when I asked about it anyways.

Throughout all my failed cycles, my FSH hovered around 7. The one month it shot up to 12 - I conceived triplets! I wouldn't worry. 12 is not that high and if you keep at this long enough it's not unusual to have a high month.

Thanks ladies, this makes me feel better, I just don't want to knowingly put myself in a situation where I am risking yet another MC. The first two were genetic abnormalities so the wheels were turning in my head and Dr. google took over. I need to have a little more faith in my doctor....and myself!
