If you do your own nails
do you do them once a week or several times?
I usually paint 2 coats one day, get a little wear at the tips, then apply another coat 2 days later.

Once a week or once every two weeks, depending on the wear and tear of them.
I have reapplied a topcoat, but I would not reapply the color and topcoat...at that point, if I were to do all that, I would just change the color entirely.
I get bored easily with colors.

I usually do them every Monday.
I will fix a chip or 2 here and there if need be, but once they start to peel off in big pieces and chip really bad beyond a touch up, I will just take the polish off completely and wait until Monday to redo them unless I have big plans before that.
I have yet to find a polish that will last a FULL week .
(other than shellac at the salon)

1x a week. I will reapply the top coat if I wanted a little extra shine, but I stick to changing the color once a week

I usually do this too, but I've started using Barielle polish and it definitely lasts almost a whole week with minimal touchup along the tips. I also use Seche Vite topcoat which helps.

I usually do them on Sundays. I haven't in a few months and my nails look great with the break from the polish but my cuticles are suffering.

I don't do them regularly, but I don't re-do within a week. I will update the top coat if I remember ( keeps them shiny & helps is last longer) or if they look like crap, I will just remove entirely.

Nail polish chips fast for me, so I typically do my nails 2x a week. I would do 3 x a week if I had time.

I usually get them done, but when I do them myself, I touch up tips after 2 days and add topcoat. Two or three days later, I will throw on another coat of the color and topcoat.

i bought jamberry lacquer from a friend who sells it. the base coat, color, and a top coat. best polish ive ever used and ive tried them all! painted them monday and they still look great! i usually get chips after one day.

I used to have permanent French for about 4 years I recently cut back on my silly expenses so I stopped in December after our vacation my nails are still in the mend but SIL bought me the kit from sephora with a few colors- formula x- it literally lasts longer than when I have gotten gel manicures and doesn't ruin the nails. I LOVE it and can go 2 weeks and I am VERY rough on my hands. I will usually polish my nails on a Sunday or Friday.
