When did you wear maternity clothes?
When did you start to wear maternity clothes? I'm kinda excited to go shopping lol so I want to know when it's acceptable to start looking :)

With my first they didn't fit or look right until after 20 weeks. Closer to 24 weeks I probably started. With my second I'd say prob 12 weeks!!

Around 24 weeks
Eta...I never ever wore anything full panel either. I hated anything over my belly. I wore the maternity jeans and pants that went under the belly.
and mainly dresses.

My regular jeans started getting uncomfortable at 16 weeks so I got maternity at 18 weeks. Unless its a fitted maternity shirt it is still too big at 19 weeks now. With my first maternity dresses didn't look right until about 22 weeks.

I had a few pieces by 18-20 weeks, but didn't start really wearing it until 24 weeks.

If I'm remembering right, for my first pregnancy, 26 or 27 weeks, this time, 22 or 23 weeks.

When did you wear maternity clothes?
I was about 14-15 weeks when I had to switch to maternity pants. I probably could've done that whole belly band thing for a while but I figured why not just go for the gusto. I'm required to wear jeans to work so I cant live in yoga pants like a lot of ladies do. I wish I could wear comfy pants to work!

I got maternity clothes early.
First time, 15 weeks (but I did buy bigger pants before then).
Second time around, 12 weeks.
I wear fitted pants & couldn't really work them without looking fat... And being uncomfortable.
With shirts, I waited til I had a bump.
So... Go & have fun! You will have to buy them anyway!!!

When did you wear maternity clothes?
I was in maternity pants at about 14 weeks. I couldn't deal with the rubber band trick to long, I was to uncomfortable. Shirts probably around 16-17 weeks, but I was limited to my longer shirts that would cover the panel.

I'm 15 weeks and I'm going to start wearing some of my maternity clothes this week. 2 of my work pants and 1 pair of jeans still fit comfortably. The rest are too tight now.

Wow, I'm so early compared to all of you! With my first, I only gained like 3 pounds in my first trimester but the "rubber band trick" / Bella Band stopped working around 14 or 15 weeks. I was so bloated so fast.
With this one, forget it, my regular pants stopped fitting around 10 or 11 weeks. Luckily I'd lost about 10 pounds a few months earlier and still had my older, bigger-size pants around. Those fit my waist, but were too big in the legs, and I made do until 13 weeks. Then I just gave up and went into maternity.

about 22-24 weeks
i like the full panel now because the under belly ones roll down and i'm not buying new pants now (according to my countdown i only have 15 hrs to go... not worth it )

I needed them by week 11, my belly blew up fast. I grew until week 14, then from week 14-18 I basically stayed the same size, then got huge. I liked full panel because it gave me extra support.

#1- around 24w. Didn't need to but my jeans were getting so big bc I lost so much weight that it just made sense to buy maternity.
#2- 9w or so. Not out of necessity. They're just comfy!!

Around 9 weeks I think. I'm now 13 weeks and can't fit into any pre-pregnancy clothes. The leggings are my favorite since they are so comfy.

I think it all depends on how you feel in your regular clothes! With my first pregnancy, I carried lower I guess bc my pants didn't fit very early on and I wore the belly band for awhile. This time around I got bigger quicker but I still fit in my pants so I must be carrying higher. I wear my maternity jeans now and try and wear leggings as often as I can! I switched to maternity shirts also! I'm 17 weeks!

The first time around I switched super early. I can't remember when exactly but I was wearing a belly band by 7 weeks! This time I am 15+ weeks and still wearing my regular clothes. I have one pair of pants that I need the band for but everything else fits me just fine. My DS was almost 11lbs at birth so I am hoping this is a sign that this baby will be a little smaller.
