Re: Colic and advice
I have been there, you have my sympathies.
Get the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD. That was a lifesaver. The Dr who made it has several techniques to soothe a colic baby. (The 5 S's-Swaddling Side/stomach position Swinging Shushing Sucking)
And he explains the reason behind the crying and screaming so you feel a little more sane.
Also, does she seem gassy? We had to change formula a few time (with the help of our ped) and also tried gas drops in her bottles.
Good luck. I know it's awful but it does get better. But when you are in the thick of it, it doesn't seem that way.

Gas drops are good. Also some of the techniques in that DVD. Bicycling her legs. And not sure if you are formula feeding but maybe a new formula for fussiness and gas.
If you are BFing it might be your diet that is causing her gas.

My dd would do this and it took 2 formula changes and finding out she had a dairy protein intolerance and mild reflux. We tried everything for 2 months until we found out zantac and alimentum worked for her.
She may not have true colic but rather digestive issues as her digestive starts to mature. Its still very immature.
Try gas drops at first. If your breast feeding try cutting dairy from your diet slowly. Cut obvious dairy. Then less obvious ones.

Hang in there - I know how hard it is.
DD had a milk protein allergy and ultimately required prescription formula.
The rock n play sleeper was a miracle worker. Her being slightly elevated and all cozy in that thing calmed her immensely and allowed us to sleep!
