Will I ever feel like a human again?!
I legit feel like my body has been taken over and I'm not even human anymore, let alone resemble myself. 13 weeks along with my second and my bump compares to my week 18 bump from the first time, I want to eat nothing but junk all the time, exercise is a distant memory and my poor husband comes home to a zombie of a wife with no energy to at least make him something reasonable to eat, engage in conversation or be remotely affectionate
I feel like I can't function like a normal person anymore. I'm pregnant, not incapacitated but you'd think I was with the way I've been feeling and acting. Sorry for the vent... just the ramblings of a looney preggo...

Re: Will I ever feel like a human again?!
I felt ALOT like this with this second pregnancy. It did get better after the first trimester blahs went away at 14 weeks. (well not the feeling affectionate/intimate part unfortunately) but I can now cook and function again with some energy. Sadly its waning a bit in the 3rd trimester. I hope you feel a lot better soon.

I felt that way for a long time. It will pass.

This time around i actually felt worse around 13-14 weeks and was like omg is this gonna pass I thoight second trimester was the energy trimester and by 15 weeks it passed!! As far as showing quicker, Im def as big as I was with my son like a month earlier than with him so now I'm 19 weeks and look like I did when I was 24 weeks with him! Hang in there!

Re: Will I ever feel like a human again?!
In general, I've just been much more tired my second pregnancy. I think it has to do with running after a 2 year old after working a full day, instead of just being able to come home and relax. I'm 26 weeks now, though, and feeling much better than I did earlier on.

Re: Will I ever feel like a human again?!
Thanks ladies... I really do hope in time it will pass. I'm lucky in that my mom is a lab tech so maybe I'll have her draw me and check my thyroid levels to see if there is anything going on there. But I have a strong feeling this is simply just one of the many fun parts of pregnancy
