month to month rentals..

Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know of any places in Eastern Nassau/Western Suffolk that does month to month rentals? It's short notice but I need a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment from 3/16-4/16 and I've been having a tough time finding somewhere that doesn't want about a 3 month commitment. It can be a complex or in a home, either works!

I don't. But since it's only for a month, have you looked into one of those extended stay hotels?

Yeah.. It's an option.. Trying to save a little with a rental. It'll be about $3500 for the month at the extended stay.

It might not necessarily be cheaper for a rental - landlords typically charge a premium since you're only there a month. My BIL had to do this when their house was being built and they had to give first, last and security on top of the rental fee.

Speaking from experience, month to month rentals are hard to find. I would personally try to book an extended hotel stay for the month.

Look on craigslist. probably won't have a problem finding something. maybe a sublet. I had to find a short term on two separate occasions, found what i needed on CL.

Nothing on Craigslist yet that anyone has actually responded. I think I'm stuck getting the hotel!
