Sore after sonogram?
Anyone ever have a sore abdomen after a sonogram? It almost feels bruised. I had my 16w sono on Friday and the tech was pretty rough. I do have extra chub in that section but it hurt a lot. We also wanted to try and find out the gender, but the baby wasn't in a good position. she kept pressing on my tummy trying to get the baby to move, but baby was being too stubborn. Just hoping the baby is ok after all that!

Ugh yes! Happened almost every time with DD. She's a perfectly healthy 12 month old! So far they've been less rough with this pregnancy.

Sore after sonogram?
After my 20 week sono I felt a little sore on one spot on my belly from pressing so hard! The baby is totally safe and protected in there but annoying to be sore!

This has been happening to me since about 18 weeks. Im noticing the bigger I get and the tighter my skin gets the more the sonos hurt.

Same. I was sore after my 20 week because the baby wasn't cooperating. It goes away after a day or 2 though. Feel better!

Yup, every abdominal sonogram. They had to really press because, as one doctor said, my abdominal muscles were very strong and that made it difficult to see through to everything. Plus, DS was very stubborn and they kept having to shake my belly. It hurt.

Sore after sonogram?
I had my first abdominal last night. I woke up in the middle of the night sore. I feel like I'm bruised. I'm 'fluffy' so I'm sure that was part of why she had to press so hard. I knew it as I was lying there it was going to hurt. But at least I got to see my baby wave.
