mild period-like cramping at 24 weeks?

Just wanted to see if this was normal. Last night I started to feel mild period-like cramps (still feel them now although not consistently). I am 24 weeks. With my first pregnancy I don't remember feeling period-like cramping until I was very close to my due date. Is this something I should be concerned about or is this normal?

Does it feel like a contraction? Could be Braxton hicks

Are you constipated? Sorry had to ask. Bc that would cause cramp like feelings.

My doctor says its normal. I'm 20 weeks and she said that as you grow, you'll feel mild like cramps. She said to be concerned if they become sharp and painful.

Ok thanks. Just needed some reassurance! I don't think I know what BH feels like TBH since I didn't experience it really the first time around! I do feel the baby kicking though so I guess that's a good thing.

I had them bad at that time. Dr said it could be growing. It went away after about a month and now its back at almost 37 weeks!

I had this the other night with my lower back hurting! I drank a ton of extra water and layed down and it went away! It happens if I overdue it that day. I think it's braxton hicks contractions but I didn't like it! Lll

I had them also. I went to the doctor but it was nothing. It lasted a few weeks. I just kept myself hydrated and that helped a little.

Thanks!!! I tried calling my doctor and per his office staff, he's out of state, and his backup doctor's office is closed, so it helps to hear this could be normal. I don't really feel comfortable calling the backup doctor's emergency line if its just for mild cramping.

I get this sometimes too- My OB told me that sometimes that's round ligament pain- we just feel it differently. Could just be the uterus stretching. I agree with the PP- just drink a TON of water and try to relax/lie down and hopefully they go away. If not, might be worth calling the emergency line just for peace of mind.

It could be Braxton hicks or you need to do #2 or ligament stretching.
