Doctor for hernia
I think I may have a hernia. What kind of doctor do I go to for diagnosis? How do they check to see if it is one?

i would say a GI dr and a surgeon if you need it repaired

I had an inguinal hernia. My GYN diagnosed me initially because I thought it was an ovarian cyst. Then she sent me to a surgeon who did a sono which confirmed the hernia. My GI dr and primary were also able to feel it.
