Re: Easter eggs....
thank.s Yesterday DH innocently asked "why do we have 3 dozen eggs in the fridge?". I reminded him that we need to dye eggs on Friday - and he looked at me like I was crazy (I only buy brown organic).
Oh well…..lots of eggs to eat, and I'll go buy white ones!

Walmart sells a carton of fake eggs. They look just like the real thing, carton bottom and all. $1.99 a dozen

Re: Easter eggs....
I tried one year...they came pretty bad. My daughter said they all look like poop. Now I just buy white eggs, but I haven't found organic white eggs. I guess I'll try whole foods.

Re: Easter eggs....
I was going to suggest Walmart also. Not only do they have fake white dying eggs, they also have chalk eggs, so they can be colored with chalk- very cute idea!

It pains me to throw away food so I only dye eggs we will eat... so I dye the brown ones. I think they are pretty... muted brownish tones instead of bright colors. You can google images of dyed brown eggs and see what you think.

Re: Easter eggs....
Stop-n-Shop's natural/organic brand Nature's promise has white eggs. They're not organic but all natural, free of antibiotics, etc.
