Okay so I posted in another post about a stomach bug I am worried I have and then I see this...
...and I have this at home. GREAT. I do not have any fever, headache, nausea or vomiting but did have D.... so I guess I just had bad coincidence and I will throw this out. UGH!

Seriously! I have yet to hear of a cold cut outbreak but all of this other stuff gets contaminated!
FWIW my DH worked for Carvel for like 6 years and he explained the process of cleaning out the machines. It is quite labor intensive and done extremely frequently so all you soft serve lovers can breathe a little easier now.

I've heard that there has only been one case of listeria outbreak in coldcuts years ago in Turkey, and nothing else since then, interesting huh?
