What does baby wear in hospital?
I'm delivering at LIJ Katz -- what do they give the baby to wear while they are in the hospital? I've already packed a going home day outfit but trying to decide if I should throw in some other onesies for DD while we're there! Thanks

What does baby wear in hospital?
The nurses have them in a diaper, white kimono side snap top and a swaddle.
I packed much own stuff, but I know they prefer the other stuff bc if they change diapers nonstop it's easier. I did all that though except for the very, very rare times they had to take dd for testing, bathing, etc,

What does baby wear in hospital?
Its much easier to keep them in the shirts and diapers save the outfits for visitors so they ha e cute pictures or bring a couple cute hats

I kept her in what they put her in - side snap tee, diaper, swaddle blanket - until it was time to go home. It was so much easier that way.

Same here except I switched his hat to a cuter one.

I brought my own clothes as well - mostly gowns so it is still easy to change the baby. I had a lot of visitors in the hospital so I didn't want my dd's in just a diaper and white shirt.

What does baby wear in hospital?
Usually keep the side snap shirt on that they give. You could always put on something for pictures, but I know at Winthrop the nurses are not fans of it (outfits on them) since they don't like having to take it off for certain test.

This. Plus the little hats they use for babies. We actually only brought one outfit for my DS and that's the one we used to bring him home

Diaper, hospital tee and swaddle. Oh an a hospital hat. Some people have real clothes or hats, but I like them in that b/c you have their whole life to dress them.

My mom made my girls matching hats. One was in the NICU, one in the regular nursery. They lost DDs hat in the nicu so I just put the other DDs hat away so it didn't get lost.

This. The last thing I needed was more work.
This....you have plenty of time when you get home to put them in outfits.
Plus they take them daily for tests etc and you have a high chance of losing an outfit if they are in it during that time.
