Custom Blinds for Front Bow-Type Windows?
Hi- I have a bow (? maybe lol) window in the front of my house that has 5 windows that I wanted to get blinds for....I think I would need 5 separate blinds due to the fact it bows out. I was thinking just white wooden blinds but really haven't looked around because I'm afraid of the quote they may tell me
Anyone do something like I described? If so, what was the ballpark spent and who did you use?
I'm afraid to just go buy them myself because I don't think I could like each of the 5 window sections up perfectly.
TIA!

My window is 3 windows and we did white custom wood blinds from the shade factory in Mineola. I think it was around 1k
We did the light rise and have strings to open and close the blinds

I think the white blinds would look nice as well as roman shades.

We just did this. Same as you described. We got white wood and they are cordless. We used lowes. Overall, we are happy. It was about 1100. They came and measured and installed.

I've used blinds to go for custom blinds.

Re: Custom Blinds for Front Bow-Type Windows?
We have bow windows in front of our house, and I had 4 separate window shades installed. DH and I installed all the other blinds in our house ourselves, but neither one of us wanted to touch this window (similar to you- we were afraid of not lining up the four shades correctly). We had someone come measure and install for us. I don't remember how much we paid, but we got Hunter Douglas Silhouettes. Worth every penny!

Re: Custom Blinds for Front Bow-Type Windows?
I personally did them myself, but my mom and I are pretty handy.
I used the Levolor Cellular Shades from Lowes. The sell in certain lengths and use a machine to cut to the exact lengths you need. I think I paid around 50 a shade.
You need to take your time taking the measurements and ensure you have enough room for each one, but it was farely easy and they look great.
Custom blinds are beautiful though and obviously easier. I just couldnt spend that kind of money since we just moved in and needed the money for other things.

Custom Blinds for Front Bow-Type Windows?
We have two 3 panel bow/bay (?) windows in the front of our house. We had custom blinds made and installed - Pirouettes by Hunter Douglas.
