endometrial biopsy
So I went for water sonogram today- that was thankfully fine. The dr says to me "you can come back Thursday for endometrial biopsy." there was no mention of this previously and I work full time. Has anyone had or not had this done? Thoughts? I do have endometriosis. thanks!

Re: endometrial biopsy
I had it done during my FET cycle in November . It was quick and didn't hurt at all. I believe it helped with implantation since I'm almost 21 weeks pregnant.
The way my RE explained it is that it gives a cushion for the embryo to stick.

Re: endometrial biopsy
I had a water sono done yesterday as well. I'm schedule to have the endo biopsy done next Tuesday. I'm preparing for a FET as well.

Re: endometrial biopsy
I just had it today and tolerated it much better than I thought I would! I would describe it as discomfort rather than pain. I've had a good amount of cramping, spotting and soreness over the past few hours but I had built it up in my head to be much worse than it is. Dr. Brenner at LIIVF performed mine and talked me through it very well.

Re: endometrial biopsy
Bad News: I found it pretty painful.
Good News: The painful part (the scraping) literally takes no more than 10 seconds.
