IUI with Male Infertility?
Hi Ladies,
I will be going for my first IUI cycle in May.
We are experiencing male infertility with his Morphology #. Anyone have successful IUI's?
After his 2nd SA they said to give IUI a few tries and then move onto IVF. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with Morphology issues from what I understand it's % of how many normal shaped sperm there are.
All others numbers were great, I checked out fine after numerous tests.

IUI with Male Infertility?
We dealt with male infertility issues -- not morphology, but low count and motility. We did 4 IUI's (2 natural, 2 Clomid) and all resulted in a BFN. We decided to move onto IVF and got our BFP on the 1st try! I'm actually due this coming Tuesday! Good luck!

IUI with Male Infertility?
We are male factor, morphology is DH' s only issue. We did 4 IUI' s with clomid and were going start injectables but decided to stop wasting money and we are doing IVF now.

We had male factor and were not successful with IUI. IVF is what ultimately worked for us.

IUI with Male Infertility?
We had MF and did two IUI's and his urologist told us not to do anymore to move on to IVF. We have twins now and going to try again soon.

IUI with Male Infertility?
Thank you ladies - Yesterday started our first cycle for IUI. I've heard not a lot of success with IUI and male infertility but on the flip side some have worked. I'm torn really with what to do but if I don't try I think down the road I'll get the feeling like I would have never known.

IUI with Male Infertility?
I know how you feel about feeling like you need to give it a try. I think I read somewhere that the majority of IUIs work within the first 3 tries. After that is less likely. So keep that in mind and who knows - you may have some luck! So far we've done two natural IUIs, and just attempted our first Clomid IUI but had to cancel because of too many follicles. I don't know if it will work for us, but it is definitely cheaper and less stressful and invasive than IVF, so I feel like we owed it to ourselves to at least try.

Same here but I did 1 IUI and his count was so low it was 1K waste of $$$ for us.
I got prego on our first round of IVF. 27 weeks today! good luck!!
