Realtors commission
Does anyone know what the average commission percentage is common right now for a homebuyer selling there home?

We just sold our house. The commission for the realtors we interviewed ranged from 4-6%.

5% is standard out East, with agents sometimes negotiating down to 4% to close a deal on very large houses.

I am pretty sure ours took 4% only, without having to negotiate or anything.

When we were selling, we got ranges of 4-6%. I would not agree to more than 4%.
